“I did it, I have graduated College.” The past 2 years have been a blur of assignments, exams, part-time jobs, stress and excitement. While graduation marks an end to an academic goal, it also marks the beginning to a completely new stage of life-for everyone. Graduation holds a double emotional punch with both feelings of celebration for reaching an important goal and also uncertainty about what lies ahead. This year, Ontario has unanimously passed legislation recognizing post traumatic stress disorder as a work-related illness for police, firefighters and paramedics.
